Many anglers compare fishing for peacock bass in the Amazon to fishing at a lodge in Alaska.  If that is true, then our exclusive river-train camps fishing private lands in four different dry zones are the equivalent of flying into remote, untouched streams in the Alaskan wilderness.

The Amazon River Basin is a beautiful and ever-changing environment.  Tremendous annual rainfall causes drastic fluctuations in water level, which greatly influences the location and behavior of the fish.  The ability to adapt to these changes is critical to an angler’s success.  Mobile river–train camps allow us to travel up or downstream to target
different types of water, maximizing our time in the areas with the most favorable conditions.

Our camps feature the very best
equipment and guides. Not only does our staff have unparalleled knowledge of the river and fish, but they are excellent instructors as well.  Whether you are a seasoned angler or just getting started, our guides will be happy to teach you the intricacies of fishing for peacock bass.  Conventional anglers will receive instruction on using spinning and casting gear, learn how to work the best baits for peacock bass and specific techniques like doubling up around a hooked fish.  Our guides can also teach you to fly fish for peacock bass as well as give pointers on tying flies for peacocks and other species.
