Fly-In Peacock Bass Fishing on Private Lands In Brazil’s Amazon!

Fly-in Safari Camps located on hundreds of miles of black water tributaries flowing thru private Indian lands in the heart of Brazil’s famous Amazon is the new premium Peacock Bass fishing trip in Brazil’s Amazon.  If you have ever fished Alaska, you understand the difference in fishing waters easily accessible to cruise ships and lodges and the unspoiled fishing available when you fly in to remote waters located on private lands where outfitters have exclusive leases with the indigenous people!
River Plate Anglers, the oldest outfitter offering Peacock Bass fishing trips to the traveling sportsman in the Amazon since 1992, pioneered the concept of fly-in fishing with our upscale floating Safari Camps, located in all 4 of the Amazon’s distinct Dry Zones from mid-July through early March.  River Plate has paid the Indian tribes from which they lease these lands well over a million dollars in financial compensation as well as generators, satellite communication equipment and computers to allow them to participate in the 21st century world of the internet.  In return the indigenous people have restricted other commercial and sport fishing outfitters allowed to fish in their lands which has allowed River Plate to manage the fishing pressures & greatly enhance the numbers and size of the Peacock Bass on these restricted waters.
This strict management means our small groups of 6 – 12 anglers in a Safari Camp can each expect to boat 20 – 40 Peacock Bass per day while not seeing another bass boat in a days fishing and experience Peacock Bass fishing the way we did in the 1990’s.  Lodging is provided in air-conditioned 250 sq ft mobile, floating cabins with private bathrooms and showers featuring a Queen bed in our single occupancy cabins or two single beds in our double occupancy cabins.  Daily maid and laundry service are provided as well as excellent meals by our onsite Chef complemented with wine and adult beverages.  Fishing is conducted with 2 anglers and a Brazilian guide fishing from fully equipped 21 ft custom bass boats with TFO bait casting, spinning and fly rods, Shimano rods and all terminal tackle, INCLUDING LURES & FLIES.   Trip prices range from $4,550.00 to $5,950.00 per person with both our standard trip which offers 6 ½ days of fishing and a short trip offering 4 ½ days of fishing.
We still have a limited number of spots available for the 2017–2018 fishing season and are taking reservations for the 2018-2019 fishing season at this time.  Contact us now for the Amazon’s true remote Peacock Bass fishing adventure you have always had on “your bucket list.”
