Our concept of a premier fishing trip is private waters in which to fish, the ability to move to the best waters available at any given time, great accommodations, good food, and great guides and staff.  River Plate leases private waters in 4 different dry zones so that you can go where the fish are.  We offer both our deluxe safair camp with private cabins as well as our traditional double occupancy safari camp.  Our deluxe camp offers each fisherman (or couple) their own air conditioned cabin with a queen bed, private bath and shower.  Our double occupancy safari camps provide two twin beds in each of our air conditioned cabins with private bath and shower to accommodate two fishermen.  All rods, reels and lures are provided to our fishermen for their use while in camp.

Emu Outfitting, in conjunction with Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO), is also offering hosted trips where you will not only be able to fish with the giants in the fishing and guiding industry but also will receive hands on instruction in the art of fishing for peacock bass with both conventional tackle and flies.

Please refer to our Trip Planning page for your itinerary,  international flight information, and our suggested packing list.  Our rates page lists the rates for our different trip options including our single and double occupancy camps and our 4.5 and 6.5 day fishing trips.

You have several sightseeing opportunities in and around Manaus if you have time at the beginning or the end of your trip including the opera house built in the age of the rubber barons, the open market, a trip to the meeting of the waters (where the Rio Solome and Rio Negro meet to form the Amazon), and the ability to swim with fresh water dolphins who only live in the Amazon.
